With a name like WOW Africa, it is difficult not to stand out from the rest. Since 1996 we have specialized in photographic, hunting and fishing safari’s in the southern parts of Africa. In winter of 2012 we relocated our business to Madaka Ranch in Louwsburg in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa where we operate most of our safari's from. Only five hours drive away from Johannesburg, Madaka Ranch provides the perfect vacation for those wanting peace and seclusion in a unique bush environment free from malaria and Bilharzia. The beautifully scenic drives, hiking trails and walks will leave you with the feeling that you have been one with nature.

Madaka Ranch is ideally situated adjacent to the beautiful Ithala Game Reserve, one of the most beautiful in the Southern Africa. In the heart of the former Zulu Empire and well placed to visit historic Battlefields, Madaka is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your visit to Zululand. On October 10, 1997, Madaka was declared a Natural Heritage Site by President Nelson Mandela.

  • Our last night in camp was wonderful. All of us are exhausted from the long team effort stalk but we feel great. The drinks were even better than normal and the late dinner was perfect. I guess Sidney knew the feeling so he delayed dinner as we talked and drank. Whoever said “you never go to Africa once” was right!

  • The big thing for me was that I didn’t feel any pressure to take more species and run up the cost. The focus was all on us, even though we were not big-ticket hunters.
